Protect Orkut Photo Album : Pictures are Stolen

Best way to protect your photo album on Orkut is "DONT UPLOAD ANY PICTURES" which you don't want to be copied. Use some other service to share pictures like Flickr where your pictures are sure to be protected.

There have been various exploits to view locked albums on Orkut, and there will be more.

Whatever you can see on your computer screen can be copied by taking a screenshot.(Press Print Screen Button & Paste in Paintbrush). There is no possible way to stop people from copying your pictures. Anyone can copy paste text from your profile and impersonate it. Maybe even edit to something undesirable. Probably you are seeing this article now because your pictures have already been stolen. You might also have seen useless links given by Orkut Help.

Now I am assuming you want to take action, do something about it. The best way is to follow these steps.

Step 1: If someone is using your name and photo to impersonate you, you (not your friend / relative) can file an impersonation form.

You would need to scan "BOTH SIDES" of your valid photo ID. (e.g. driver's license, national ID card, student ID etc). Basically anything to prove its real you.

Step 2: Concurrently contact the local police. File a complaint !

After that you just have to wait in the queue, I guess !

Rapidshare limits each user to a certain amount of downloading per day based on the users IP address. You can easily cheat rapidshare by showing a different IP address.

1.Clear your browser cookies.
2.Open the command prompt (Start – Run – cmd.exe)
3.Run the following simple commands:
ipconfig /flushdns
ipconfig /release
ipconfig /renew
4. Type exit to close the DOS window. Restart the rapidshare download job.

This trick may not work if your ISP has assigned you a static IP address. (BSNL assigns a dynamic IP)
OR

Instead of typing this again and again type this in your notepad
ipconfig /flushdns ipconfig /release ipconfig /renew exit

and save the file and give the name as rapidshare.bat

After this anytime you want to do the trick just double click this file

Let's get straight to the point. I am assuming you are a nOOb and you don't know anything.

Step 1: You have just found a Rapidshare Link. Click on it. It would take you to a page like this.
Step 2: See that free button over there ? Click on it.


















Step 3: After pressing that button, you would come to a page like this. Just Select a server, and put the code in that text field.


















Step 4: After pressing the "DOWNLOAD" you should get an option to "open" or "save". You should "SAVE THE FILE" on your hard drive.

LOOK AT THIS IMAGE and Just be careful over what you install. If you need a font for something, you only need to open it in the Windows font browser and it should become available in your application until you close the font browser. Installing and forgetting about fonts is a very easy way to slowly degenerate your boot times. If you can avoid them, don't install an antivirus program (especially not Norton). That's not perfect advice for everyone, but if you've got an oodle of web-smarts, you should be able to spot what's bad and what's ok.

One thing not covered by this test (for sheer time purposes)is what happens when you uninstall the software. Another was drivers. Drivers are known to increase the boot time (as VMWare displays) but are completely impossible to demonstrate on a testing system like this. Firstly uTorrentis my current fav torrent download software. Its the best software in

smallest package.

After trying out many different settings I am just sharing my best configuration for

utorrent. Obviously your best config may be different because of your network and

hardware etc.

Coming stratight to the point, I have 450kb/s download with 100kb/s upload. You can

check your speed from http://www.speedtest.net/ and make settings accordingly.

Options>Preferences:
Global maximum upload rate (kB/s) = 10
v Allow incoming legacy connections
Global maximum number of connections = 128 (If you don't have bandwidth then more

connections dont mean more speed)
Maximum number of connected peers per torrent = 16
Number of upload slots per torrent = 2
v Use additional upload slots if upload speed <>
v Enable DHT Network
v Enable DHT for new torrents
v Enable Peer Exchange
v Enable scraping
v Pre-allocate all files

Advanced Settings:
peer.lazy_bitfield = *true
net.max_halfopen = *40
peer.disconnect_inactive_interval = *600
diskio.write_queue_size = *2560
diskio.read_cache_size = *2560

I have doubled my speed after these settings. And please note that there is a 8fold

difference in kilobit and kilobyte.(1kilobyte = 8 kilobits).It took me a while to

understand the best settings so I am sharing with you. A well seeded torrent will

download at speed of 18.

SHORT NOTE: Seeders are people who have already downloaded the file and peers are

number of people who are currently downloading the file. You should have more seeders

for good speed.

Running older software applications in Vista

One concern for Windows XP users is if their favorite software applications will run once they upgrade to Vista.

Luckily, Windows Vista uses a feature called Compatibility Mode which tells the software application that Vista is actually an older OS, specifically Windows 95, 98, Me, NT, 2000, or XP.

Here's how it works:

If your software application won't install, open or work properly, right click on the application's .exe file. Select Properties and then click the Compatibility tab. From there, pick the previous Windows operating system you were on (most likely Windows XP).

How to move or close the start button!

the worst movie of the year has arrived ..............MEET THE SPARTANS ....i had liked the earlier one EPIC MOVIE but this
puts a shame on the whole process of spoof making .....it is so bad tht it will actually give u a headache jus in the first 10 mins or so
i dont know whn will these guys understand tht by showin vommitting,farting ,and other gross things wont make up a good movie you have to back it up with some good witty jokes
nd funny circumstances .....i completely agree with shashank tht this movie made EPIC MOVIE & ALL THE OTHER SCARY MOVIES LOOK LIKE A MASTERPIECE ......i wll advice all the people not to watch the whole movie but jus to skip thru the funny scenes(which are very very few) as it is a real pain in the ass ......i m writing this review with such a rage ht i wanna choke the bloody director nd writers of this movie

its not the best of all the saw movies and it is not the brllnt in terms of its plot to but it has one thing going for it and tat is the Tone ....the tone of the film is just perfect and some of the torture scenes to are horrifying .if only the twist at the end and some of the side plots could have been more interesting ,this could very well have been a good movie .

exciting and entertaining ride which should not be missed.................. .rarely do u get western movies as fast paced and as philosophically rich as this one .the script , screenplay and the dialouges are written in such a way tat todays audience would enjoy the experience more .i have to admit its not as great as UNFORGIVEN (a Clint Eastwood Masterpiece ) in terms of being philosohically rich but it has that hold on the audience throughout which we rarely see in most movies today .and this is due to , 2 of the finest actors working together ie Christain Bale (amazingly restrained ) and Russel Crowe (oustanding screen presence) who are the heart and soul of this film .a must watch movie .highly recommended.

one of the best animated movies comes frm PIXAR ,yr after yr they bring us good clean movies with outstanding animation and cute characters and here again they bring to us something new and fresh.eventhough u must have watched many animated movies with rats in it but who could have thought of rats and food together can not only pull the audience's to the theatre but also improve ur passion for food(not me) but this one does so with a sweet simple narrative and a soul which is rarely seen in todays animated movies (which mainly has many fart jokes ) .Ratatouille is brllnt and cannot be missed if u like good clean movies and mind u this one will entertain not only the kids but also the adults .HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

very few directors take risks when it comes to horror movies as the audiences for such genres are hardcore ones and are mainly concerned with entertainment value but BUG takes a completely different route and it succeeds mildly but overall turns a dampner.as the story began it came across more of a hardcore realistic drama than a horror one but as it unfolds it turns completely bizzare (i must say the writer was smart as he knew no one could digest wat he wanted to show at the end and for that he needed real characters which he so brllntly creates but where he fails is in making the audience believe in it).how else can u describe a scence where one of the character say he has EGG SACS in his teeth (it was actually funny than being horrific) .but the biggest plus point is two of the most brllnt performannces u will see on screen in a horror movie this yr and tat comes frm Ashley Judd and Michael Shannon who makes this film watchable .a one time watch and recommended for audiences who are tierd of same old horror movies .

its a MASTERPIECE (AND I TRUELY MEAN TAT ) .how else can u describe a film which is SO insightful on the human nature and at the same time entertains u even if its made in 1950 's.just ask urself and see if u found any old films enjoyable to watch ? and i will tell u very few will be the answer and i m DAMM sure this film will be in tat few movies ka list (if not then it surely will)as its simply pathbreaking and philosophical to the core .one of the best scences has to be the one where Tajomaru says "Woman Are Weak " and instantly the girl rises up and starts laughing and explains him where he is wrong (tat will go down in my book as the best scence i have seen for a really long time) ,also the scence at the end where these three guys start pointing at each others faults (its so much deep than it actually looks).finally i have to say Akira Kurusova is a magician who knows all the right tricks to blow ur senses away and i honestly request u guys to catch hold of this filmaker's films as its much more than a film .HIGHEST RECOMMENDATIONS.

fulto timepass pic and while watching u wont even realise how time passed away tats fr sure.i m not a huge simpson's fan but i do watch it when i get time and its really funny especially the father son duo of Homer and Bart both r simply outstanding in the film and the series(the best scences and lines are given to them like always ) .the film works because each and evey joke is funny and have u in splits also the pace is fast and the director knows its audience quite well tats why the movie has become a commercial hit to .dont waste any time and plz catch it as soon as possible if u love comedy .highly recommended.

i must say Rob Zombies last film "The Devils Rejects "may not be brllnt but it was marginally fun to watch but i cant say the same abt this highly idotic movie.i mean the start itself will turn u off ,the scences where this kid with a jokers mask killing a senior with a stick sounds so funny and even more painful to watch.every scence in the film must have been repeated thousands of times before and the worst must be the scence were these two guys shown raping the girl in front of MICHAEL (tat itself shows the film was noot made to scare people but shock them with scences in the name of realism ) .there is absolutely no freshness in the plot ,the only thing innovative abt this piece of junk is the camerawork and the background score (tat to at the end).i was expecting a lot frm it eventhough i have not seen a single HALLOWEEN movie before this but dissapointed me big time.not recommended .

how can i describe a film which makes a mockery of bollywood and wants the audience to like it .wah kya soild idea hain FARAH ,show the world how regressive our cinema was in the 70' s and fool the audience in the name of entertainment but guess wat IT ACTUALLY DOES .especially the first half is throughly entertaining and joy to watch but the second half IS BAD with a capital B .i cannot decide how to rate this film ........................its so suprising a movie with a entertaining 1st half has a terrible 2nd half and the actors who give good performance in the 1st half irritates u in the second(SHARUKH ko pathar se marne ka man kar raha tha second half main ) .SHARUKH hammes it up in the second half as the cool dude and all those idotic slangs he uses (i wish i could kick him in the ass for that ) it actually made me cut out some points frm it .finally i have to say both films released this diwali fails to make any noise(on creative terms) but the winner clearly seems to be OM SHANTI OM which is made only to entertain even if its bad .MORAL OF THE STORY indian audience hates to watch different film they are more interested in comedy.

two of the best performances i have ever seen in sci fi movie for sure comes frm none other than BRUCE WILLIS(his best performance ) and BRADD PITT(outstanding) .i guarntee u while watching the film u will actually become the character as they enter ur head and the same happened with me .i was so impressed by both and the movie too tat i cant stop raving abt it to my frnds .defeintely its much more than wat 28 weeks latter could offer (a more bleaker view of the future ).its one of those movies which has a complicated plot but the new experience itself will make u forget abt it .its not recommended for everybody as it is a highly disturbing movie (not visually but mentally ) .A MUST WATCH as it adds something new to the sci fi genre.

its one of those movies which could have been a huge commercial success had it worked more on the screenplay and acting .......especially by ADAM SANDLER .........who is good in some scences but irritating in others make this movie uneven in its emotional content.suprisingly its Don Cheadle who wins ur heart eventhough his is a less challenging role compared to the two which shows his capablities as a actor .for me its a good movie which can be watched once.

OUTSTANDING,MESMERISING,BEAUTIFUL ...............the more adjectives i use ,still it wont fully describe this movie.after watching it i m so much dying to fall in love yaar .everything abt it so damm perfect ............the setting ,the actors ,the chemistry everything .i mean this has to be the best romantic movie i have seen for a really long time eventhough i m not a die hard romantic by heart but still there is something so natural in not only the performance but also the situation tat u hate when the movie ends in a depressing note .there are so many scences which reminded me of Richard Linklater last film which i watched (WAKING LIFE ) in terms of all the dialouges but they all made sense here as it was more believable .one of the most romantic scences has to be the one where Céline (Ethan Hawke) and Jessie (Julie Delpy) pretend that they are talking to their frnds and keep telling them abt wat they loved abt each other (it was so damm cute) .finally i have to say this is a MUST WATCH for all hardcore romantic movie lovers .HIGHEST RECOMMENDATIONS.
