Google Releases New Browser Officials at Google have unveiled their new browser, entitled "Chrome."


Folks with the company say it's designed to directly take on Microsoft's Internet Explorer.

Chrome lets users open multiple websites, which can be navigated by clicking on tabs.

Engineers say if one website freezes, only that tab will crash instead of the entire browser.

Another key part of Chrome is that users are able to download updates when available.
